Administrative command execution via malicious file upload
Published Dec 18, 2024 · Updated Oct 21, 2025
OS command injection in BeyondTrust PRA and RS 24.3.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run commands as the site user. The administrative upload path accepts a malicious file that triggers underlying OS commands; BeyondTrust has not disclosed the handler or parsing error. Existing administrative privileges are required, and successful exploitation grants command execution with site-user permissions.
