Stored XSS in Smart Maintenance Mode before 1.5.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in visitors' browsers. The Custom HTML setting stores unsanitized markup and renders it on the maintenance-mode frontend without context-appropriate escaping. Administrator privileges are required to save the payload, and a visitor must load the affected maintenance page to trigger it.
