Arbitrary code execution via unsafe BIN deserialization
Published Dec 20, 2024 · Updated Dec 24, 2024
Deserialization of untrusted data in Delta Electronics DTM Soft 1.30 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code through BIN files. Its BIN-file parser fails to validate user-supplied serialized objects before deserializing them. Exploitation requires a user to open a malicious file or visit a malicious page, and code runs with the current user's privileges.
