Heap-based buffer overflow in Autodesk Navisworks 2025 allows attackers to execute code by inducing a user to open a crafted DWFX file. The undisclosed DWFX parser writes beyond a heap buffer while processing attacker-controlled file content. Exploitation requires user interaction and runs in the current process, where it can also read sensitive data or crash the application.
