Authenticated application crash via unchecked allocation failure
Published Mar 5, 2025 · Updated Mar 5, 2025
Unchecked return value in libwagosnmp on affected WAGO controllers and TP600 panels allows remote authenticated users to crash the application. When an attacker-controlled memory request cannot be allocated, libwagosnmp fails to check the allocation result and uses an invalid memory area. Low-privileged network access is required, and the documented consequence is limited to the affected application rather than other applications.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
