CVE-2024-12642Network attack vector

Arbitrary file write via CSRF path traversal

Published Dec 16, 2024 · Updated Dec 16, 2024

Arbitrary file write in Chunghwa Telecom TenderDocTransfer 0.41.151 through 0.41.156 allows remote attackers to write files via phishing. A local web-server API lacks CSRF protection and accepts a relative path that escapes its intended directory when writing attacker-supplied content. A victim must visit attacker-controlled content while the application is running; exploitation can overwrite any file writable by that user's process.
