OS command execution via CSRF-exposed Node.js APIs
Published Dec 16, 2024 · Updated Dec 16, 2024
Reflected XSS in Chunghwa Telecom TenderDocTransfer 0.41.151 through 0.41.156 allows remote attackers to execute OS commands. The local web server exposes APIs without CSRF protection, allowing a phishing page to inject JavaScript that reaches Node.js operating-system features. A user must open the phishing content while the application server is running; successful exploitation executes commands with that user's host privileges.
