Authenticated database disclosure via unprepared dir_id queries
Published Dec 21, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Time-based SQL injection in Fahad Mahmood WP Docs 2.2.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to extract database data. A request-controlled dir_id value reaches queries in inc/functions.php without adequate escaping or $wpdb->prepare(), enabling appended SQL and timing-based extraction. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of sensitive database information.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
