Arbitrary file upload via unchecked pic_url
Published Feb 6, 2024 · Updated Aug 19, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in Juanpao JPShop 1.5.02 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to upload attacker-chosen files. The merchant API's PosterController actionUpdate function accepts pic_url and saves the referenced file without validating its type or content. Low-privilege merchant API access is required; the direct result is arbitrary file placement, including files with dangerous types.
