Administrator-targeted script execution via unescaped formId parameter
Published Jan 11, 2025 · Updated Jan 13, 2025
Reflected XSS in Contact Form Master 1.0.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts in an administrator's browser. The addNewForm administration page reflects the formId query parameter into HTML without sanitization or output escaping. Exploitation requires an administrator to open a crafted link, after which the script runs with that user's site privileges.
