Admin script execution via unescaped ph_message reflection
Published Jan 8, 2025 · Updated Jan 8, 2025
Reflected XSS in Property Hive before 2.1.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary script in an administrator's browser via ph_message. The ph-settings page writes the ph_message query parameter into its response without sanitization or output escaping. Exploitation requires an administrator to open a crafted URL; script then runs with that user's browser privileges.
