Authenticated code execution via unsanitized Twig templates
Published Jan 4, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Server-side template injection in AlexaCRM Dynamics 365 Integration 1.3.23 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute code. The shortcode render function passes contributor-controlled Twig template content to the engine without validating or sanitizing template syntax. Contributor-level WordPress access is required; successful injection reads arbitrary server files and executes code in the web server context.
