CVE-2024-12563Network attack vector

Authenticated PHP execution via unvalidated shortcode template

Published Mar 18, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

Local file inclusion in WP Sharks s2Member Pro 250214 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code via a shortcode. The Pro shortcode handlers use the attacker-controlled template attribute to select a local file for PHP inclusion without sufficient validation. Contributor-level post-editing access is required; successful exploitation runs PHP in the WordPress server context and can expose or alter hosted data.
