Contributor-level post disclosure via unrestricted duplication
Published Dec 19, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Sensitive information exposure in bPlugins Button Block 1.1.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read restricted posts. The btn_block_duplicate_post function duplicates a caller-selected post without enforcing the source post's visibility restrictions. Contributor-level access is sufficient to copy draft, scheduled, private, or password-protected posts into content available to that user.
