Published Mar 1, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Arbitrary file deletion in SurveyJS: Drag & Drop Form Builder 1.12.17 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete server files. The SurveyJS_DeleteFile callback deletes a requested file without checking whether the caller has the required capability. Subscriber-level access reaches the callback, and deletion of a critical file such as wp-config.php can interrupt the site or enable code execution.
