Unauthenticated server configuration disclosure via exposed phpinfo
Published Jan 9, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in the linkID plugin for WordPress 0.1.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to read server configuration data. The bundled lib/linkid/linkid-sdk-php/util/index.php exposes phpinfo output directly without a capability check. No authentication or plugin activation is required; installing the plugin leaves configuration settings and predefined server variables exposed.
