Contributor-level post disclosure via unchecked duplication
Published Jan 7, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Sensitive information exposure in Binsaifullah Duplicate PP 3.5.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read restricted posts. The dpp_duplicate_as_draft function duplicates attacker-selected draft, scheduled, private, and password-protected posts without verifying access to the source post. Contributor-level access is required, and the resulting draft exposes content otherwise hidden from that account.
