Database backup disclosure via unsanitized output path
Published Dec 11, 2024 · Updated Dec 11, 2024
Relative path traversal in CJBI Wetech CMS 1.0 through 1.2 allows remote authenticated users to disclose database backups. BackupFileUtil.backup concatenates the unvalidated name value into the output path used to write the SQL backup and compressed archive. Low-privileged access to the admin backup endpoint is required; traversal into a web-accessible directory exposes the generated database archive.
