Authenticated code execution via unchecked file upload
Published Dec 16, 2024 · Updated Dec 16, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in InvoicePlane 1.6.0 through 1.6.1 allows remote authenticated users to upload dangerous files. The Upload controller's upload_file method moves a supplied file into customer_files without checking its extension or verifying a CSRF token. An authenticated administrative session is required, and an uploaded executable file can expose application data, modify server content, or interrupt service.
