XXE in Schneider Electric Web Designer for four Modicon modules, all versions, allows attackers to execute code via a crafted XML project. The configuration-tool importer parses project XML while allowing external entity references to resolve resources outside the project. A user must import the attacker-supplied project; exploitation can disclose data, alter the workstation, or execute code.
