Script execution via unescaped image URL errors
Published Feb 9, 2024 · Updated Apr 24, 2025
Reflected XSS in Concrete CMS version 9 before 9.2.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through an imported image URL. The checkRemoteURlsToImport method inserts the administrator-supplied URL into validation-error messages without HTML encoding. Administrator access and user interaction are required; a crafted invalid URL executes script when the resulting error response is viewed.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
