Customer file deletion via unchecked bulk-action nonce
Published Jan 27, 2025 · Updated Jan 27, 2025
CSRF in WP Customer Area 8.2.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete customer files through a forged admin request. The cuar-trash bulk action accepts an arbitrary _wpnonce value and processes attacker-selected file IDs instead of rejecting the request. Exploitation requires a logged-in site administrator to open the crafted request, and the demonstrated consequence is deletion of selected customer files.
