Published Jan 16, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in Mondula GmbH Multi Step Form 1.7.23 and earlier allows remote attackers to upload image files over the network. The fw_upload_file AJAX handler accepts uploads without checking whether the requester has a permitted WordPress capability. No account or user interaction is required, but accepted file types are limited, so the reported impact is unauthorized image placement rather than code execution.
