Stored XSS via unsanitized button onclick attribute
Published Feb 20, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Leap13 Premium Addons for Elementor 4.10.18 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via crafted buttons. The Button widget stores attacker-controlled JavaScript in its onclick attribute because input sanitization and output escaping fail to neutralize event-handler code. Contributor access is required to inject the script, which runs in a visitor's browser whenever the affected page is opened.
