Account deletion via missing nonce validation
Published Feb 12, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
CSRF in Kevon Adonis WP Abstracts 2.7.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary accounts via forged requests. Multiple administrative account-deletion handlers process state-changing requests without verifying WordPress nonces, so browser-supplied requests inherit the administrator's session. Exploitation requires an administrator to open an attacker-controlled link or take a comparable action, and successful requests can remove any account.
