Administrator-session script execution via unescaped _nonce parameter
Published Jan 27, 2025 · Updated Jan 27, 2025
Reflected XSS in Codexpert WC Affiliate 2.3.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser. The WordPress admin affiliates page reflects the _nonce query parameter into its HTML response without sanitization or output escaping. Exploitation requires a high-privilege user to follow a crafted link, after which the injected script runs with that user's site origin and session privileges.
