CVE-2024-12310

Physical login bypass via unhandled keyboard shortcut

Published Jul 23, 2025 · Updated Jul 23, 2025

Improper authentication in Imprivata Enterprise Access Management 5.3 through 24.2 allows physically proximate attackers to access Windows. On a Type 2 shared kiosk, the agent fails to block a specific keyboard shortcut, exposing the already authenticated Windows autologon session. Physical keyboard or exposed USB access and three policy settings are required; access inherits the dedicated account's permissions.
