Administrative-session script execution via unescaped Filename parameter
Published Jan 30, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Reflected XSS in Bowo System Dashboard 2.8.17 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts via the Filename parameter. The Viewer page places the request's Filename value into generated HTML without adequate input sanitization or output escaping. Execution requires an administrative user to open a crafted link and occurs in that user's browser session, enabling page-content access or modification.
