Controller startup crash via canceled request context

Denial of service in HashiCorp Boundary allows remote attackers to terminate a controller via an HTTP request during server startup. The event release gate reuses a canceled request context to log an observation, and the resulting logging error aborts controller initialization. Exploitation requires an unauthenticated request within the millisecond-scale initialization window and interrupts only that controller's startup.
