Script execution via unescaped x1 parameter
Published Dec 11, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Reflected cross-site scripting in ThimPress WP Pipes 1.4.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to run scripts via the x1 parameter. The x1 request-parameter path places attacker-controlled input into generated page output without sufficient sanitization or context-appropriate escaping. No authentication is required, but a user must open a crafted link; successful exploitation runs script in that user's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
