Event-log deletion via forged administrative request
Published Jan 27, 2025 · Updated Jan 28, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in Aguila Technologies WP Customer Area 8.2.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete event logs. The wpca-logs administrative handler processes a cuar-do-logs-action request without validating its nonce before deleting matching records. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open attacker-controlled content, and the demonstrated consequence is loss of the plugin's audit history.
