CVE-2024-12276Network attack vector

Database disclosure via unescaped stored filenames

Published Feb 21, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

Second-order SQL injection in Ultimate Member 2.9.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read database data through filenames. The uploader code uses stored, attacker-controlled filenames in an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or preparation. Exploitation requires permission to upload and rename files through another plugin, and the demonstrated consequence is database disclosure.
