Unauthenticated export disclosure via predictable filenames
Published Jan 13, 2025 · Updated Aug 27, 2025
Sensitive-data disclosure in Repute InfoSystems BookingPress before 1.1.23 allows remote attackers to download exported settings files. The export function writes data under wp-content/uploads/bookingpress_export_records using sequential bookingpress_export_data-N.txt names without access controls. No authentication is required, but an administrator must first create an export; exposed files can contain usernames, password hashes, email addresses, phone numbers, and SMTP passwords.
