Authenticated shortcode execution via unvalidated preview ID
Published Dec 29, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Code injection in Saturday Drive Ninja Forms 3.8.22 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary shortcodes. NF_Display_Preview interpolates the nf_preview_form query value into a preview shortcode and sends it to do_shortcode without restricting shortcode syntax. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, while resulting data access or site changes depend on the shortcodes registered by WordPress and its plugins.
