Data exfiltration in Google Cloud Gemini API in Vertex AI allows remote authenticated users inside a VPC-SC perimeter to bypass its boundary. The multimodal request handler accepts attacker-controlled data in fileUri and routes the resulting media request outside the service perimeter. Reachability requires VPC Service Controls and authorized access inside the perimeter; the flaw exposes encoded sensitive data without reported integrity or availability impact.
