Unauthorized database operations via unsanitized name parameter

Published Dec 5, 2024 · Updated Dec 6, 2024

SQL injection in Beauty Parlour Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to perform unauthorized database operations via a crafted name value. The admin/edit-customer-detailed.php handler inserts the POST name parameter directly into an SQL query without validation or parameter binding. No login is required; demonstrated blind payloads can infer database contents or alter records within the application's database privileges.
