Unauthenticated database access via unsanitized search parameter
Published Dec 5, 2024 · Updated Dec 5, 2024
SQL injection in PHPGurukul Complaint Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to access its database via a crafted search request. The /admin/user-search.php handler places the POST search parameter directly into an SQL query without sanitization or parameter binding. No login is required, and demonstrated boolean-, error-, time-, and UNION-based payloads can read or alter database data and interrupt service.
