Unauthenticated code execution via restore path traversal
Published Dec 8, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Local file inclusion in WP Umbrella 2.17.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read server files through the restore endpoint. RestoreRouter.php uses the filename parameter as a PHP include path without restricting directory traversal. No authentication is required; including an attacker-controlled uploaded file executes its PHP code with the web server's privileges.
