Subscriber-level writes and deletion via unchecked REST routes
Published Jan 11, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in Premio Coupon X 1.3.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to alter or delete WordPress data. Several REST route handlers in class-cx-rest.php lack capability checks, so subscriber requests reach coupon creation, post and lead deletion, and coupon-status updates. Subscriber-level access is sufficient; effects include 100%-discount coupons and deletion of posts or captured leads, without reported service interruption.
