Unauthorized form-style creation via missing capability check
Published Dec 12, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in Hash Form – Drag & Drop Form Builder 1.2.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to create form styles. The form-style creation path accepts and persists a new style without checking whether the requester holds the capability reserved for that action. Contributor-level access is sufficient, and the documented consequence is limited to unauthorized creation of form-style records.
