Code execution via out-of-bounds DWFX parser write
Published Dec 17, 2024 · Updated Aug 26, 2025
Out-of-bounds write in Autodesk Navisworks 2025 before 2025.4 allows attackers to execute code via a crafted DWFX file. The DWFX parser fails to validate user-supplied data before writing past the end of an allocated object. Exploitation requires the target to visit a malicious page or open the file, and successful code execution runs in the current process context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
