Database disclosure via unprepared project ID query
Published Jan 4, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
SQL injection in weDevs WP Project Manager 2.6.16 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read database data via a REST request. The task-list endpoint incorporates its project_id route parameter into an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or parameter preparation. A valid account with access to a project is required, and the bounded consequence is sensitive database information disclosure.
