Code execution via malformed DWFX parsing

Out-of-bounds write in Autodesk Navisworks 2025 allows attackers to execute code by opening a maliciously crafted DWFX file. The DWFX parser writes beyond an intended buffer while processing malformed file data; Autodesk has not disclosed the specific parser routine. A user must open the file, after which the application can crash, corrupt data, or run code in the current process.
