Stored script execution via unsanitized body
Published Dec 4, 2024 · Updated Dec 5, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in DedeCMS 5.7.116 allows remote authenticated users to inject script into software pages via body. The /member/soft_add.php handler inadequately filters the body field before saving software content, so a submitted SVG event handler is later rendered and executed in another viewer's browser. A registered member able to publish software must store the payload, and another user must view the affected page; the consequence is script execution in that viewer's DedeCMS origin.
