Published Dec 4, 2024 · Updated Dec 5, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in DedeCMS 5.7.116 allows remote authenticated users to run script in a victim's browser via an SWF upload. The member/uploads_add.php handler accepts an uploaded SWF after the mediatype request value is changed to 2 and stores it under a web-accessible URL. A member login and a victim opening the returned upload URL are required; execution is limited to the victim's browser context.
