Email interception via improper SMTP certificate validation

Improper certificate validation in Tenable Security Center 6.4.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to intercept sent email. The SMTP client accepts a rogue server certificate instead of rejecting the untrusted endpoint during outbound mail delivery. Administrator privileges and control of the SMTP route or endpoint are required, and the resulting impact is limited to disclosure of messages sent by Security Center.
