Buffer overflow in NETGEAR R6900 firmware 1.0.1.26_1.0.20 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt router service via HTTP. The upgrade_check.cgi HTTP header handler accepts a crafted Content-Length value that causes request data to exceed a memory buffer's bounds. The attack requires router-administration credentials and network access to the management interface; public evidence reports service interruption only.
