Authentication bypass in Progress WhatsUp Gold 2023.1.0 through 2024.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to access its server via the public API. The defect is in public API signing-key rotation, but Progress has not disclosed the responsible code path or exact incorrect operation. A low-privileged account is required, and successful exploitation grants access beyond that account's intended public API authorization.
