Unauthenticated content deletion via unchecked AJAX handlers
Published Jan 21, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in Atarim 4.0.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete project pages and files via AJAX requests. The wpf_delete_file handlers process attacker-supplied deletion requests without verifying a WordPress capability. Guest mode, enabled by default in affected releases, exposes the handlers without authentication and permits loss of project content.
