Arbitrary file write via incremental-recursion symlink replacement

Path traversal in Rsync Project rsync 3.3.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to write files outside a client's destination directory. Incremental recursion deduplicates names within each file list but not across lists, allowing a server to replace a validated directory with a symlink before the client writes through it. The client must pull with symbolic-link copying enabled, while the server can enable incremental recursion; successful exploitation writes with the client's filesystem privileges.
